Hi, I’m Andres — founder of MiCasa and a long-time expat who turned personal experience into a professional mission.
With over 15 years of international experience in the corporate world, I’ve worked in roles spanning Category Management, Sales Strategy, and Business Development across the Consumer Electronics industry. I’ve always loved data, structure, and strategy — but what truly drives me is helping people navigate complex decisions with clarity and confidence.
After buying a home in The Hague twice as a foreigner, I saw firsthand how challenging the process can be — not just due to language or bureaucracy, but because the system isn’t designed with expats in mind. That’s why I started MiCasa: to offer a service built on insight, experience, hard work, and a strong local network — everything it takes to succeed in a competitive housing market.
One moment I’ll never forget: when my wife and I visited the house we now live in, I accidentally left my scarf behind. I called the selling agent and arranged to pick it up that same evening. The owner opened the door and we ended up chatting for 45 minutes. Later, our own realtor told us that this small interaction helped the seller choose our bid over the others. That’s how important relationships can be in this process — and that’s a big part of what I bring to the table.
A few years ago, I took a step back from the corporate world when my second daughter was born, choosing to spend more time with both my kids. More recently, I’ve been studying the official OVGP course to become a certified real estate agent (makelaar), and have already passed the Koop-Verkoop module — one of the most important parts of the licensing track.
At MiCasa, I combine professional know-how with the kind of guidance I wish I had received: honest advice, full-process support, and no-nonsense commitment. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, Dutch, and a bit of Italian — and I’m here to help you feel at home, every step of the way.
